![]() Writer is the word processor inside LibreOffice. ![]() Nor does the typical method of recovering off-screen windows work, since, being a sidebar, it is not treated as a regular window, and will therefore not show up as something that can be moved, when hovering over the Calc icon in the Windows Task Bar in order to pop up the Move Window option. LibreOffice is the free power-packed Open Source personal productivity suite for Windows, Macintosh and Linux, that gives you six feature-rich applications for all your document production and data processing needs. But, when cursor will stop at the edge of the the screen, there’s no way to even blindly find and grab that title bar. Seems like you can only drag it by clicking and holding the title bar (which is normal, in Microsoft Windows). That sidebar cannot be moved by pointing the cursor at just any gray space, clicking, holding and dragging. So there is (using Windows 11, and probably same on Windows 10) no way to grab that sidebar and move it, nor can any main menu options be seen or actuated. Upon accidental undocking, the sidebar appeared on the adjacent, much smaller screen (positioned somewhat lower), with the title bar and any menus now being off-screen, above the upper screen border. My situation, a two-monitor configuration, presents a slightly different challenge. Xorg-x11-server-Xwayland-1.19. the exception of the user profile set-up, which is not an acceptable option, neither this suggested solution, nor any of the others I’ve seen in this thread seem to work for me. It's a successor project to OpenOffice(.org) with regular releases, extra features, and improved compatibility (.docx export). Windows 10 and 11 laptops with a Thunderbolt 4 port (look for the Intel Evo sticker) can triple that connector and add. LibreOffice is a free and open source office suite used by millions of people around the world. Also, Libreoffice icons appear in the frequently used applications again. I've logged into an Xorg session, and the icons appear in the Dock and alt-tab as normal. Also, Libreoffice icons aren't retained in Gnome's frequently used applications as David H. I am experiencing this same bug under Wayland in Fedora 25. 1.2 LibreOffice on other operating systems. I did a fresh install from fedora-alpha and dnf update since there. Its just a "Missing icon" with "soffice" as description. I’m using it to replace AppleWorks, which I’ve been using since ClarisWorks 1.0 shipped back in the System 7.0 era.Unfortunately, AppleWorks is incompatible with OS X 10.7 Lion and later, so I’ve had to find an alternative since installing OS X 10. I posted today something like these issues with LibreOffice 7.4.2 using a Mac mini with M1 and the latest updates and so forth, I hope that someone with better knowledge of software can help us with a fix to these issues. LibreOffice is a free alternative to the not-inexpensive Microsoft Office suite. I'm using gnome on wayland and the icons from Libreoffice (Writer, Calc, etc.) are missing from dock and Alt+Tab. Try disabling Skia via Tools > Options > LibreOffice > View, and see if that helps. Organon allows to split up large texts into parts, allows tagging and opening parts of the project in new tabs. ![]()
